Quiche Lorraine

Quiche Lorraine
  1. 8 eggs
  2. 1/4 cup diced red pimentos or roasted peppers
  3. 1 teaspoon dry or fresh parsley flakes
  4. 1 cup half-and-half
  5. 1 teaspoon salt
  6. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  7. 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  8. 1/8 teaspoon white pepper (optional)
  9. 1 teaspoon baking powder
  10. 12 oz. shredded Swiss cheese
  11. 12 oz. cooked crisp turkey bacon crumbled
  12. Greased 8 inch square baking pan or deep dish pie pan

 

  1. Preheat oven on Bake to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix eggs, half-and-half, pimentos and spices in a large bowl with a wire whip.
  3. Fold in cheese and turkey bacon. Pour into greased pan and bake for 40 minutes until golden brown.
