Cruise Phase Day 59

Day 59 of the Cruise Phase stats:

  • Weight Today 100.1 kgs
  • Weight Lost 0.3 kgs
  • Total Weight Lost 9.5 kgs

What I ate yesterday:

  • Breakfast – Dukan Galette
  • Snack – 2 sugar free sweets
  • Lunch – Boquerones en vinagre,(Whitebait in Vinager, with tomato and olive oil) Ensalada Mixta, Mixed Salad with tuna (more olive oil!) – had these out in Alozaina. 0% fat yoghurt (at home)
  • Snack – none
  • Dinner – Pork burgers
  • Drinks – half a liter of water, Cafe Sombra (milkey coffee) 3 cups of tea.
  • Exercise – Walking the dog

I can´t believe how much weight I have lost in the last few days!  I hope it keeps up at this rate, but I am not expecting it to.  Even after having lots of Olive Oil on my lunch and a cup of coffee which is mostly milk (full fat) I still lost weight.  But I won´t start thinking I can do that every day!  Lunch in Alozaina is lovely but not something to do regularly.

Cruise Phase Day 57

Day 57 of the Cruise Phase stats:

  • Weight Today 100.4 kgs
  • Weight Lost 0.6 kgs
  • Total Weight Lost 9.2 kgs

What I ate yesterday:

  • Breakfast – Dukan Galette
  • Snack – 2 sugar free sweets
  • Lunch – 3 crab sticks, 1 boiled egg, 3 slices cooked turkey, 0% fat yoghurt
  • Snack – none
  • Dinner – Jerk Chicken, 0% fat yoghurt
  • Drinks – 1 glass water, 3 cups of tea, 1 cup of coffee
  • Exercise – Walking the puppy and keeping the peace between her and the cats!

It was a lovely day yesterday after about a week of rain so I had a chance to take Fudge out for a walk.  She is a bit nervous of the cars on the road so I had to carry her for a bit as she just wanted to run home!  But we finally got down to the riverside and had a nice walk.

We also had a ramble round out “campo” later in the day and she loved that.  This is all having a positive effect on my weight!  I can´t beleive how fast it has come off this week.  I have been on the Dukan Diet for 9 weeks and have lost 9.2 kilos – a great result, but could have been even better if Christmas hadn´t been in there!

Cruise Phase Day 35

Day 35 of the Cruise Phase stats:

  • Weight Today 102.8 kgs
  • Weight Lost 0.5 kgs
  • Total Weight Lost 6.8 kgs

What I ate yesterday:

  • Breakfast – Starbucks Skinny Latte at the Airport
  • Snack – none
  • Lunch – Ginger Buiscuits
  • Snack – 2 sugar free sweets
  • Dinner – Chicken Wings
  • Drinks – Not enough Water, 2 cups of tea, 1 cup of coffee
  • Exercise – Walking miles in the Airport again

It´s been a hectic week with my family visiting from Ireland but it was very enjoyable and I managed to stay on track with my diet.  Only Christmas to get over now and it sould be plain sailing to my target sometime in May or June……..I hope!

The only problem now is that my back is very sore after all the driving and I really don´t feel like doing any exercise.  I need a weeks holiday myself……lol.

Cruise Phase Day 17

Day 17 of the Cruise Phase stats:

  • Weight Today 104.9 kgs
  • Weight Lost 0.7 kgs
  • Total Weight Lost 4.7 kgs

What I ate yesterday:

  • Breakfast – Dukan Galette flavoured with Blueberry Quark (delicious but bad!)
  • Snack – none
  • Lunch – Turkey Burgers, 0% fat yoghurt
  • Snack – none
  • Dinner – Roasted Picanton (very small chicken)
  • Drinks – 1.5 ltrs water, 2 cups of tea, 1 cup of coffee
  • Exercise – None….!!

I will really have to get back to doing some exercise today!  The Bromelain tablets are working on the inflammation in my back so I am starting to feel better.  Will try to do 20 minutes on the Cross Trainer today.

Bromelain also seems to have another effect, and I am not bloated today and have had a good internal clear out…lol.  My weight has gone down a lot today and I am delighted I found this diet!

Cruise Phase Day 11

Day 11 of the Cruise Phase stats:

  • Weight Today 105.8 kgs
  • Weight Gain 0.1 kgs
  • Total Weight Lost 3.8 kgs

What I ate yesterday:

  • Breakfast – Oat Bran Porridge with added Wheat Bran
  • Snack – none
  • Lunch – Scrambled Eggs with Smoked Salmon
  • Snack – Cooked Turkey Slices, Sugar Free Jelly
  • Dinner – Jerk Chicken, Onion, Tomato, Green Pepper – 0% fat yoghurt
  • Drinks – 1.5 ltrs water, 2 cups of tea
  • Exercise – None – was out all morning so I was wrecked!

Slight gain today but yesterday was a PV day so not too worried about that.  Also, despite my best efforts yesterday with the added wheat bran and a laxative last night there has been no improvement in my “output”!

My back was having a bad day yesterday because I had loads of places to go so was in and out of the car a lot – the old back doesn´t like this kind of messing about!  So I spent more time in bed yesterday than I usually do.  It´s feeling a bit better this morning but I´ll leave the exercise until later this afternoon.

I´m feeling really positive about the Dukan Diet – I know it´s going to take a long time to get to my target weight but I am determined to get there.

Cruise Phase Day 9

Day 9 of the Cruise Phase stats:

  • Weight Today 106.1 kgs
  • Weight Lost 0.0 kgs
  • Total Weight Lost 3.5 kgs

What I ate yesterday:

  • Breakfast – Oat Bran Porridge, Mushroom Omelette (2 eggs)
  • Snack – Turkey Slices
  • Lunch – More Turkey Slices, 0% Natural Yoghurt
  • Snack – Boquerones al Vinagre – these are Whitebate pickled in vinager
  • Dinner – Minced Beef Kebabs, Lettuce, Tomato, Green Pepper with flavoured 0% yoghurt for desert
  • Drinks – 2 ltrs water, 2 cups of tea
  • Exercise – No real exercise but went shopping

No weight loss today BUT I measured myself last week then again yesterday and I have lost 2 cm from my waist and have lost on all my other measurements as well!  My trousers are starting to get loose (they were like sausage skins!) and I feel great.  If it wasn´t for my back problems I would be skipping about the place……I´m hoping the doctor can sort out my last problem next month.

I am going to try to get in 2 sessions on the Cross Trainer today.  I feel I´m missing out when I don´t do any exercise.

Cruise Phase Day 6

Day 6 of the Cruise Phase stats:

  • Total Weight Lost 3.1kgs

What I ate yesterday:

  • Breakfast – Oat Bran Porridge
  • Snack – none
  • Lunch – Ham Omelette, SugarFree Jelly
  • Snack – Turkey Slices
  • Dinner – Chicken Thighs
  • Drinks – 1.5 ltrs Water, 2 cups of tea, 1 cup of coffee
  • Exercise – 20 mins Cross Trainer

Well, this week isn´t going as good as I thought it would.  I know the book says weight loss will be slow in the first week of Cruise so I am going to be patient (and tell myself I am building muscle on the Cross Trainer!)

Going out today so I hope I don´t get tempted too much.  I´m going to eat a bigger breakfast than I usually do so I won´t be hungry.  We´re also going shopping in an Asian Food shop to get some spices and stuff that is really hard to find here.  It´s in Fuengirola where we are going for the day anyway.

I´ve done 2 PP days so I can have veggies today :)

Attack Phase Day 7

Day 7 of the Attack Phase stats:

  • Weight Today 107.2 kgs
  • Weight Lost 0.6 kgs
  • Total Weight Lost 2.4 kgs

What I ate yesterday:

  • Breakfast – Oat Bran Porridge
  • Snack – none
  • Lunch – Chicken/Turkey burger, Dukan Custard
  • Snack – 3 Crab Sitcks
  • Dinner – Grilled Chicken Breast, 0% Fat Yoghurt
  • Drinks – 2 ltrs water, 1 cup of tea, 1 cup of coffee.
  • Exercise – 15 mins Crosstrainer

This will be my last Attack day and I am happy with the weight loss so far :)

I had planned to have a mid-morning snack as I only had porridge for breakfast but I just wasn´t hungry and didn´t start to think about food until 2pm.  And I did some exercise…….I sometimes wish I was the sporty type who just loves to exercise!

We are going out to visit friends today (and to pick out a new puppy for me!) so I´m not sure how it will go.  Maybe I´ll bring some sliced meat and crab sticks with me – they are understanding types so shouldn´t be a problem.

The Dukan Custard is just as good when it has been stored in the fridge and I will definately be making it again.

Attack Phase Day 6

Day 6 of the Attack Phase stats:

  • Starting Weight 109.6 kgs
  • Weight Today 107.8 kgs
  • Weight Gain 0.2 kgs
  • Total Weight Lost 1.8 kgs

What I ate yesterday:

  • Breakfast – Oat Bran Pancake.
  • Snack – none
  • Lunch – Egg Wrap with Smoked Salmon and Fromage Frais, Custard
  • Snack – 3 crab sticks
  • Dinner – 2 slices Turkey Meat, Grilled Panga (fish), 0% fat yoghurt.
  • Drinks – more than 2 ltrs water, 2 cups of tea, 2 cups coffee.
  • Exercise – No proper exercise but went shopping again.

I ate very late last night and think that may have contributed to the small gain.  Also didn´t have to go to the toilet my usual 3 times during the night so may also be some water retention.

I´m not very good at doing the exercise as you can see so from today I am going to make a real effort to either go far a long walk or go on the crosstrainer.

I am doing 7 days on Attack and have to say I am not really missing vegetables yet!
