We´ve all been there at some stage of our life…..holidays, weddings or other social occasions….you want to look your best but you need to lose a few pounds to fit into that bikini/dress/suit! Or if you are like me, your weight has crept up over the years until you realise that you are FAT! You see a photo of yourself and are shocked – “That can´t be me!” Well, here is the one that did it for me:

Not a great picutre in more ways than one!! But it made me realise that it was time to take control and finally do something about my weight. I started searching for the Magic Bullet – you know….the one where you eat what you want and lose xxxlbs in 1 week….but I have to tell you, there is no such thing. For a couple of months I went from The Ice Cream & Fruit Juice Diet to The Calorie Controlled Diet to The Atkins Diet to The Dukan Diet…….losing a little bit then stalling on each one. Then I started to combine all I had learned from these and other diets and designed a “way of life” diet that suited me and my lifestyle. I don´t like to spend half my life in the Gym…I hate getting sweaty…and most of all I hate feeling hungry! And here is the result:
I know, I know – you thought you were going to see a Bikini Shot…..lol!! Sorry but my iPhone doesn´t take great photos but you can see the difference – I am half the person I once was. The first photo was taken in May 2010 and the second in Febuary 2011. And I lost all that weight:
- Without counting calories
- Without feeling hungry all the time
- Without going to the gym (or doing much exercise at all!)
Since I have lost so much weight I have become the diet coach for my family and friends – any question they have about any diet I know the answer. So I have decided to try to help out as many people as I can – I know the misery of being fat and it´s not a happy place to be!
